Campagnolos Chorus Eleven-Speed Cassette takes advantage of an aluminum carrier to reduce weight, a surface treatment to increase life, and steel cogs for the right balance of weight and durability.

The tallest three cogs are riveted to an aluminum carrier. The next three cogs are also riveted to a carrier. This increases drivetrain stiffness when using these three cogs, increases cassette body durability as the wide carrier distributes pressure better, and reduces weight. The five smallest cogs are loose.

The cogs themselves have been treated with a nickel-chrome finish, which hardened the finish and increases durability.

There are six cassette range options, from a nearly straight-block 11-23, to an alpine 12-19. The 11-25 version of the Campagnolo Chorus 11-Speed cassette weighs 247g
