The United Recruit 16 2014 complete bike is their first venture into producing a 16 bike, and like their 18 bikes they wanted to make sure they could come out with something that handles and looks like a scaled down 20 bike rather than just another small kids bike. United kept as many high end features as possible on this model with a fully sealed 4 pawl ultra loud cassette hub, sealed integrated headset, sealed mid bb and United 40mm stem. United then tailored other parts to the smaller dimensions of the bike with a slimmer tube set, 32 spoke rear wheel, 28 spoke front wheel, small junior size lever, grips, seat and pedals.
